Thanksgiving is just around the corner. A festival of great significance for more than a century, it denotes a time when families and friends get together to spend the weekend together generally with a lavish feast or a simple family dinner. But last year, I was forced to spend it away from my home due to an emergency at work.
However, an old friend of my father graciously invited me to his home. They were an elderly couple- the Browns, with a 23 year old daughter, Sara, who worked in New Jersey. I was really excited.
